Marietje is a 3 D printed sculpture made from ABS 3D filament, delicately decorated with gold leaf. The hand-applied filament gives the piece an unique character, making each sculpture one-of-a-kind. Marietje stands on a vintage coffee pot lid, which was found in a thrift store-just the lid remaind, but its beauty inpired me to use it as a pedestal for this special figure. The combination of modern 3 D printing techniques and the upcycled vintage lid creates an unique, making Marietje an exceptional art piece.
